Broom 35 cl

Todays assignment was at Brundall on the Southern Broads Surveying this Broom 35. Like all of the Broom models in the Coastal range, the 35 CL is designed to be equally at home cruising inland waterways like the Norfolk Broads or making serious sea passages, with the hinge-down mast helping to give the boat a low air draft.

The en-suite aft cabin is fitted with an island double, although in some other models I have seen, the fore cabin has been laid out as a four person dinette. The deck saloon sofa can be converted to an occasional double berth. Alternative access to the side decks is provided by a port side sliding door.

The 35 CL is fitted with single or twin engines, providing 62HP to 340HP depending on intended use. This one has twin Yanmar 190HP diesels.
