Todays Inspection was on this Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50 DS. This was the owner's version layout and boasted an impressive aft owner's cabin with a spacious en-suite plus two large double forward cabins. This was a great example of the popular 50 DS with the most sought after layout.
Its construction is sound, and it’s an easy-to-sail vessel with an electrically assisted sailplan, a lot of entertainment space, and a cleverly designed convertible interior.
She was equipped with an optional 110-horsepower diesel that could drive it to hull speed with a bit of throttle to spare.
