Todays Survey was on this Pedro 30', Jim Cole was the Yacht Broker in Brundall.... she offers an excellent combination of a compact design with a surprisingly spacious interior. The innovative layout and its elegant but powerful lines immediately give you that Pedro feeling. The lines of the beautiful flared bow are the undisputed eye-catchers. A compact design, comfortable and stylish interior. The Pedro 30' combines manoeuvrability with an interior space that is extremely comfortable.
Surveyors comment:
Look for corrosion down the exhaust pipes... they are welded in as part of the hull and because of their design they allow water to accumulate in a damp environment.
Also check for corrosion activity in the hollow keel. Its good practice to install a drippless type stern gland from new to prevent any water from entering the keel. The later Pedro models have single plate keels eliminating this problem.
Powerful 22ton capacity mobile hoist. (especially useful for surveys or hull inspections) |
Ready for hauling out at Brundall Bay Marina. Situated on the beautiful Southern Broads, Brundall Bay Marina is the largest and best equipped marina on the Broads, with moorings for over 300 boats. |
The hull is of welded 4mm steel plate with a single chine at the turn of the bilge. The hull plates are internally stiffened via welded T section frames spaced at approximately 300mmm centres |
