The Broads Authority will be throwing open the doors to its new state-of-the-art workshop and dockyard for its annual public meeting on Saturday June 29th.
The event, which will run from 10am to 1.30 pm, will include two short presentations by Chief Executive Dr John Packman, outlining the Authority’s achievements during the past year and its future plans.
Each presentation, at 10.30 am and 12.30 pm will give the public the chance to ask questions. Stands and displays will highlight specific projects, including the construction journey of the workshop, which has become the new hub of the Authority’s construction and maintenance work. Both staff and members will be on hand to talk about their work.
Short trips aboard the Authority’s new patrol launch, the Spirit of Breydon, will be offered free of charge.
Park and ride will be provided free of charge at the Griffin Pub, 212 Yarmouth Road, Norwich NR70SN with blue badge parking only available at the dockyard. Please book a parking space by lunchtime Friday June 28th with Hilary Franzen on 01603 756034or email: hilary.franzen@broads-authority.gov.uk
